AVALON:
In the year 2022, I left Preston in Lancashire after living there for over 36 years and travelled South with my family to our new home at the plant based, Vegan Community at Avalon Priory near Glastonbury in Somerset.

This beautiful location was not only our new home, but it was also the perfect place from which I could continue the 515 art .

AVALON CHAPEL:
◊
The original and oldest part of Avalon Priory is the chapel and tower which has been built right next to the A39 Bath Road. Historically, this road was an important part of the ancient ‘Pilgrims Way’ to Glastonbury.
◊
◊
In honour and respect for Avalon Priory and in loving memory of the mystical artist Katharine Emma Maltwood, who used to own the property and lived here in the 1920’s and whose sculptural art is still permanently on display here after more than a century, I have installed 15 pieces of 515 art in the sacred chapel.
